From time to time, the charity receives request from academics who would like male victims to take part in surveys. These form an important part of helping to ensure that the needs of male victims are adequately addressed.

I am a student currently working on a study called "Understanding help seeking behaviours in male survivors of partner abuse". This study is interested in how men cope with abuse, and what facilitates or prevents them seeking help. The study is open to all men over the age of 18, who have suffered some form of partner abuse.
Participation, which is anonymous and confidential, involves talking to myself about their experiences for about 45 minutes, over the phone. If you are interested in talking to me please e-mail me; hs08rrm1@brunel.ac.uk.

I am inviting to participate in a study on domestic violence. This study focuses on experience and negative consequences of domestic violence on male victims. It will help to understand how a male victim feels in abusive relationship and learn what forms of violence are used by female perpetrators.
