One of the activities that the charity undertakes is to lobby other organisations to recognise the plight of male victims.

JUNE 2008

Letter sent to New Philanthropy Capital asking why their recent research document ‘Hard Knock Life’ only covered the plight of charities that help females.

NO RESPONSE YET

MAY 2008

Letter sent to the Association of Chief Police Officers complaining that their 2008 domestic violence guidance does not include any reference to male victims, only female victims.

RESPONSE RECEIVED STATING THAT GUIDANCE WILL BE REVIEWED

Letter sent to Men's Coalition asking for the domestic abuse pages on their web-site to be changed because they do not support male victims but simply just harangue men.
