DONATIONS AND BEQUESTS
The ManKind Initiative relies on donations and bequests to enable the charity to continue its support of male victims of domestic abuse and domestic violence.
Donations have been received from individuals, companies (as part of their charitable giving/corporate social responsibility) and other organisations. This has also included people taking part in sponsored events.
The charity is also grateful for bequests.
Any donations or bequests that are received are used with due care and for specific purposes.
Recent donations have been used to:-
- Upgrade the web-site;
- Produce new leaflets, posters and banners;
- Buy new equipment for the office;
- A new help-line phone system
- Run a pilot help-line at weekends
